This Disclosure Text has been prepared to inform you, within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), about the purposes for which your personal data is processed, to whom it may be transferred, the methods by which it is collected, its legal grounds, and your rights. Under the obligation to inform, the data subject must be informed about the data controller, the purposes of processing, the persons to whom data may be transferred, the method of collection, the legal grounds, and their rights.

Within the scope of our event and training activities, the following personal data may be processed:
- Identity information: Name, surname, national ID number, title, institution/company information.
- Contact information: Phone number, email address, address information.
- Professional information: Position, department, institution name, profession, area of expertise.
- Registration and participation information: Name of the training/event, registration date, attendance status, certificate/participation document information, event preferences.
- Visual and audio recordings: Photographs, videos, and audio recordings taken at the event venue.
- Requests and transaction information: Application forms, evaluation surveys, questions and feedback, communication records.
- Special category personal data: Health information, disability status.
2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
Carrying out training and event registration processes, creating participant lists, tracking attendance and participation, managing entry to the event venue and organizational processes, issuing participation certificates, providing information before and after the event, carrying out payment and invoicing processes for paid events, receiving and resolving requests and complaints, conducting satisfaction surveys and feedback processes, ensuring physical venue security, fulfilling retention and notification obligations arising from legislation, and carrying out internal reporting and archiving activities.

3. Methods of Collecting Personal Data

Data processing activities based on explicit consent — particularly the use of photographs/videos for promotional purposes, the sending of commercial electronic messages, and the processing of certain special category personal data — will be evaluated separately. Explicit consent must relate to a specific matter, be based on information, and be freely given.
All processing activities are carried out in accordance with the principle of data minimization.
5. Persons to Whom Personal Data May Be Transferred and Purposes of Transfer
Your personal data may be shared, limited to the purposes stated above, with the following persons and organizations:
Suppliers providing organizational services, trainers, consultants, event venue providers, companies providing security and technical support services, financial advisors, banks, and payment institutions involved in payment and invoicing processes, information technology and software service providers, service providers involved in issuing certificates/participation documents, and legally authorized public institutions and judicial authorities.
Your personal data will not be shared with third parties unless there are legal grounds for doing so and the necessary administrative/technical measures have been taken.
6. Photograph, Video, and Audio Recordings
Photographs and videos may be taken at the event venue to record the general atmosphere, create an internal archive, or for event reporting purposes. However, separate explicit consent is recommended for the use of images in which a person is clearly identifiable, for promotional, social media, press, website (mbbkulturyayinları.com.tr/en), or advertising purposes.

7. Retention Period of Personal Data

For example, attendance and certificate records may be retained for a reasonable archival period, payment and invoice records for the periods stipulated by legislation, and explicit consent records for the period necessary for the validity of the consent and for evidentiary purposes in potential disputes.
Your personal data may be retained for 2 years for data related to applications, and for 5 years where necessary under cooperation agreements.
Personal data will not be used for commercial purposes such as advertising, marketing, or profiling. A separate Cookie Policy applies to the processing of cookies. (A cookie policy is not mandatory but may be added.)
No special category personal data is requested within the scope of this event.
8. Security of Personal Data
The necessary administrative and technical measures are taken to prevent the unlawful processing, access, disclosure, or loss of your personal data. In the case of processing special category personal data, the additional measures determined by the KVKK Board are complied with. The Board states that adequate additional measures must also be taken when processing special category data.
9. Rights of the Data Subject
Under the GDPR and the KVKK, you have the right to: request access to your personal data, request information about processing activities, learn the purpose of processing, learn the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, request correction, request deletion or destruction, object to processing, and request compensation for damages suffered as a result of unlawful processing of your data.
